MINI ALBUM for Pretty Little Studio

It's really a great honour to design for Pretty Little Studio and having my projects shared on their blog. Oh my... I have a few projects on the PLS blog this week... using all Pretty Little Studio products :) hope you would come check out :)

Today, I would like to present you a simple mini album filled with some Pretty Little Studio goodness. The main products I'm using is from the Hopscotch collection, and I found out this collection does not necessarily have to be with an Easter theme!

Here's an idea of the 4 page mini album:

All you need to prepare is just bare chipboards, white acrylic paint and an unwanted credit card or a brush if you prefer.

Cover the chipboards with generous amount of acrylic paint, here I like to use the card cause it is faster and I could make irregular textures by dragging the card.

Stick all your photos onto the chipboards when the paint is dry.

I punched a hole at the corner of each chipboards to bind everything together, and you could even add eyelets to secure. Now it's the fun part to use your Pretty Little Studio stuffs! I added the bracket tag, bingo card and also cut up banners like from pattern papers to tuck behind it. A doily would be fun too!

I wanted a smaller scale of flags for the mini album, so I cut a bunting flag into 5 smaller pieces.

The round vintage tag is just so cute, so I tied it up with a chain together with the mini album.

Materials:

Patten paper: Pretty Little Studio
Hopscotch collection (Vintage Bunny)(Hopscotch)(Carrot Soup)(Camomile Tea)(Bunny Hop)(Mopsey)

Embellishments: Pretty Little Studio
Vintage Tags-Mother Goose, Calendar Cards - Train Tickets Khaki, Journaling Cards - Celebration Stars, Journaling Cards - Apothecary Ledger, Vintage Flashcards - Bingo Cards Colors, Vintage Tags - Peter Rabbit, Journaling Cards - Vintage Bunny Brackets, Vintage Cutouts - Little People Easter, Bunny Hop - Cutout sheets, Hopscotch Mini Bunting Flags

Alphabets: American Crafts

SHARING IDEAS

I met a crazy and mad and also sweet lady in SBM (Scrapbook Market group on Facebook) recently, she is my secret SB agent, hahaha... She's WaiSam... SamJie that's what I call her.. And she gave me an idea yesterday when I was what's apping late night.... Btw.. I love WaiSam's project :D

Do you haveAll the pretty papers with never ending images for fussy cutting? You are in love with them but you just can't finish using them although they've appeared on many of your projects.....are you seriously going to use all of the cows on the paper? LOL and you don't know what to do cause they are piling up higher and higher in stacks!!!!!!!

What I do is SWAP them with a friend! *wink*

Gather all your fussy cuttables that you are fed up with and keep them aside.

cut the fussy cuttables that you want to giveaway and staple them on an A4 copy for easy storage and viewing! Slot it into a protective sheet and swap it with your friends!
You can have more variety of fussy cuttings now and not getting bored with the yellow cows anymore :)

And also...
If you have limited space for yourself to scrap, try stacking all your papers and flat embellishments like stickers and rubons beneath your project that you are working with. You'll find it will be a lot easier to go through your papers and they don't scatter everywhere around your place. At least this works for me :))))

Hope these help!!!!!

Thanks for coming over!

Yippee~~~

There's a few things I would like to share.. yippee!!
First I couldn't believe that I could finish a mini album in a day!!!!! but still some photos not sticked and journalings not written yet, but!!!!! it is almost done!
I used my Scrappingville's March kit that contained lots of Sassafras papers to make this album and it is oh so chunky and I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Can't really share everything now, but I'll promise this will be reveal soon in the month of March :)

During the holidays, I made a traditional scrapbook mini album about my recent trip to Bangkok. The idea is to make it simple and easy.... okay... so I'm done with day one... and I dunno when I'm going to finish it?????!!! (yikes)showing only 1st page here~

And then!!!!!! I participated an ATC swap (for the 1st time) in a facebook group with a bunch of crazy scrap-die hard fans in January, finally everything has arrived and I'm so excited!! Thank you everyone for your effort and especially JieYing for hosting the January swap :)
the glitter one with hand carved stamped images is mine!!! :D
