Milkshake layout

i love to share messy stuffs, and these are the messy things lying on my bed

my uncle's getting married tomorrow, have to make something extra special for him.it's a guest book and the 1st i've ever made. sharing next time, haha... cause today just posting a layout here.

this is layout...... ... ... number 15??? forgotten...two little flowers are handmade from fabric and washi tape, i could save money from buying embellishments and make these... scoreborders for the upper and lower parts of the layout and add a tiny lace for texture. (my previous layout post in the background)
and most of the materials are from StudioCalico's Fieldguide kit.
except: the Love brad by Daiso, Camera transparency by Hamblys, lace from stash

Thanks for coming :)

53 weeks 2012 album

recently I have a problem getting rid of scrap papers... especially those beautiful AC ones from LETTERBOX and DEAR LIZZY collections,
they sure are pretty but I just can't finish them till the last piece!
I think those papers had appeared 3 or 4 of my mini albums =___= and there are still remainders in my stash(it's getting fatter)

wanna make a 52 weeks album for next year (coming in just a week!) so these papers are better to be gone in my stash for good!
here's the pretty cover for my album, i used thick chipboard for the cover base

this border punch is really handy at times with the droplets
see that scissors trinket?? that's from Camille in France :D
really like the chain instead of rings to bind my book, but i guess i have to switch back to rings when the album gets fatter with photos :(
splatters, twine, thickers always appear
so this is the opening page, i really love the THE MAN IN THE MOON ephemera by OA's ROcket age ephemera pack, it suits the 1st page very well!!!! thanks Celeste!!! & the photo of the 1st week should be pasted there
these scrap papers seem endless, and I still have remainders in my stash!!!!!
some of the papers... this & that i've been keeping are all inserted to the album too :)

i love the MT packaging (MT washi tape), it's double sided & colorful..splendid!

now........
if only I can remember to snap and print photos every week...

thanks for visiting!

LO #14 TWENTY

Sometime ago I participated in an international swap at MonikaWright's blog I LOVE IT ALL, it was a swap with people in France. WOWEE!!! I love stuffs from France. Oh my heavens, I was fortunate enough to swap with a French lady, Camille. She sent me a box lotta goodness! SHE EVEN SEWN MY NAME ON A ITTY BITTY CUTE POUCH!!!! YIKES!!!! *me jumping or rather doing the happy break dance, duh*I have receive this quite some time ago but always forgotten to blog about it. Thanks CAMILLE!

alrighty, a layout I made before going to Singapore (again) last week, inspired by one of the sketches in Sketchpad and AT stuffs.I inked up the naked chipboard Thickers with VersaColor again, but added some GlimmerGlam to it (turns out nothing special). You can see faux stitching with white pen and splatters again.... ye-ah~The pin attached at the top is no TimHoltz thingy, it comes with a tag on my shirt I bought last week... aha, thrifty me but clever me x) just tie a knot with the AT ribbon and done!
zoom in to let you see the 3 layer photomat.

WHAT A SIMPLE AND EASY LAYOUT! but it took me quite some time mix matching the colors and patterns... FYI: I used iPhone's PhotoBooth apps to take the photos.

Thanks for popping over :)

Cardstock: AC, PatternPapers: AmyTangerine by AC, Mits: StudioCalico in white and classic, Ribbon: AmyTangerine by AC, Stickers: Thickers by AC and Random collection label sticker by CratePaper.

LO #13 1st Day @ College

hello! Christmas is getting nearer! Here to wish you a happy and meery Christmas :) May the Lord bless you always!!

I made a layout recently, it turned out VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BUSY and COLORFUL *o*
and I love it!
the inspiration came from the in-thing-----> CHEVRON and with colorful ink splattersdoes this make you happy? :D with all of the papers from Echo Park's Happy Days collection
these are back and forth kind of chevron... all handcut! oh my goodness, you can't even believe it, I spent hours cutting the arrows making chevron (mmm.... it doesn't seem like a chevron now.....) it is a lot of work, I don't really enjoy that process, too tiring~

the colorful splatters are just sooooooooooooooooooooooo cute, really really love it
me likey the cloud stamp from Studio Calico's past kit (Candy Shop), got the stamp from a giveaway by Margarethe :)
I used both of the stamps with 2 types of pattern (dots and stripes).
The cloud with a plain design was made like this: turn the stamp backwards to adhere on acrylic block and stamp it with the backside, which gives a plain cloud with the same size, this technique is clever, saw it somewhere though
never thought that negative punches can be that useful and great, now we can get the most of our punches and scrap-that-was-supposed-to-be-in-the-bin!sorry but i have to say again, I like this corner... it turned out so different and cute, haha!

Sorry for the excitement here, this layout just makes me happy, with all the colours and everything.... sigh~~~~~~

THANKS FOR POPPING OVER!!!!!

no blogger ID? no worries, another way of getting a chance --> LAST TWO DAYS LEFT ONLY

The photo says it all :) I received one of the happy mails this week and it is loaded with happy things.....
one of it is SpeedBall, *i heard* it is one of the best carving tool
THANKS CELESTE :)

oh, I borrowed a DSLR recently so I took some random photos including the ones that are above, it was my first time handling a big-fat-heavy DSLR in my life...
there's only one thing I have to say... it is so darn heavy!!!
so not used to the size cause I've been snapping photos with my slim-o digital camera :) guess now have to think twice since i'm considering of getting one DSLR, it's the focus and clarity that I'm in love with... Mmmmm... mmm~~~~~

okay, time to show-off another layout made long time ago...
sometimes I always find the results so amazing cause they always turn out the way I didn't plan for... creativity is powerful!
started off with some washi tape borders and most of the products is from the Glee Club kit by Studio Calicoseriously in love with the Out of Print flowers by Basic Grey and INK SPLATTERS!!!!! can somebody please stop me??????
me likey the negative butterfly punches... i find it cute
the white pen comes in handy for faux stitches again
the droplets punch is from the residues of my red border punch *below the TOGETHER stickers title*, reused and recycled
the banner is from one of the Studio Calico product packages, I added printed journaling on it, and it is being reused!!!!
( FYI: April mentioned that most of the paper packaging products from Studio Calico is acid free.)

finally using my favourite product -- the AT LINE!!!!

THE GIVEAWAY IS STILL OPEN!!!! HOP ON HERE!

forgotten to share this a few months ago (months!)
I changed the backing of my phone from this:
to this:withAmyTangerine's Is It Any Wonder Fabric Paper, sorry if you're feeling dizzy X)

DECEMBER IS HERE! and this Christmas is kinda different, I get to attend my dad's Malay friend's wedding...wow! anyway, I see lots of stunning December Dailies by lots of people and I just can't click the escape button from the window, they are just too awesome... well for me, I did no DD cause December is not really a big thing for me. instead, I came up with a Birthday Planner100% inspired by Amy Tangerine's DIY mini book
90% Amy Tangerine products being used
(10% being Twine, Glue Arts adhesive, thread, StudioCalico exclusive stickers, Glimmer Mist + Mister Huey)

this is a great way to jot down everyone's birthday and refer to it by not missing any of them :D yes!
::inside pages::
it's a 4 page book, pretty simple

::some zoom-ins::
revealing the DazzlingDiamond Glimmer Mist

the Goodness Thickers is one good alterable Thickers I've ever used!!!!!!!!what I did was cut a plastic sheet and adhere the thickers on them, trying to get the blue which is similar to the blue in AT line, I picked both of the colours below and mix it

covering some parts of the thickers with one colour
then fill everything with another color
once finished, just use tissue to dab the excess of ink and the criss-cross resist appears again, cool!
there you have it!

spending such a long time admiring the AmyTangerine products, finally I have the guts to cut through the papers, HA!

thanks for hopping by!
