another layout tht should be shared for quite some time ago --> last year i meant.
this one is super easy super simple and super fast. Thanks to the help of Pink Paislee's Daily Junque paper, i love it! yes, that's me in the photo when I was young, please don't try to squint for a clearer look of me, ha!
cut out flowers from Studio Calico's Memoir paper and other Daily Junque papers, cute! and just staple the cut out from the same line. ah! so easy.
this little vintage lady with an umbrella is from MME's Lost & Found 2 Stamp set. the label on the paper just came in too handy, oh my, I DONT HAVE TO THINK TOO MUCH :D
the Studio Calico intertwined circles die cut sheet is something I've been dying for to do this--->the masking technique!!!!! (with Dewey Mister Huey) the die cut rocks baby!!
anyway, I brought my friends to Scrappingville (LSS in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia) to make their very 1st layout. oh yeah, they enjoyed.
and I got my first DT kit from Scrappingville with soooo many Hopscotch paper by Basic Grey. you know what? I've finished my projects within 2 days with 2 layouts, ha! I call this efficient me :D
Spot them!

one more news and LO number... errr.....
fourth one among the 'Design Team' names....
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! so I screamed cause I couldn't contain myself. Can't wait to dig lots of pretty stuffs from this company, and make something awesome *blink blink*
Do go to their WEBSITE to have a look on some cute and pretty vintage stuffs, and BLOG to be inspired or even the SHOP if you can't help it :)
Okay, so I counted there's how many LOs haven't shared here... five, and more hauls + misc to share. This LO was made when I attended a 'Getting Started--LO' class quite sometime ago... maybe last year, yes it was last year. And eventually I attended the wrong class, but nevermind I had a good time with Erin :)
1st time using Coordination cardstock ----- it's one good stuff! with 7Gypsies and BasicGrey Hopscotch paper.
I think why I love ripping paper is because there is no need to pull out the trimmer, my bums are super lazy I tell you (my projects reflect it very well)
boring sides of 12x12 paper? RIP. need some strips of paper? RIP. liking the worn out look? RIP. Cheryl the ripper, luckily's not THE STRIPPER (lol)
**found out this cardstock is no good for ink splatters**
the Thickers provided for this class were.......erm... incomplete... but it was a good way for me practicing mix-matching and cut different alphas to the alpha that I want. **Foam ones work well**
S--cut 8 and reposition, M-- cut 0 and reposition. you could try with your unwanted Thickers :)
btw I love thickers with FOAM ones *wink*
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO THOSE WHO CELEBRATE!!!!!! It is very noisy here, there would be fireworks in the night within every 5 minutes, phew~

back to blog :)
I'm finally sticking back to my blog and start some uploading and blogging (oh no, i have tons of projects, this and that and those havent shared!!!! what you called that?? er... A PROCRASTINATOR!!! that's me :O). There has been lots, well quite some actually has happened.
The first thing is,
I've been chosen to be part of the design team IN ScrappingVille -- an LSS in Kuala Lumpur. I was !!!!!!!!!!!EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!! and wanted to scream (well, i better not) so loud when I received a note from Sharon, thank you so much for choosing me and having an interest in my projects. Thanks to all who congratulate me :) Quite stressful and nervous now, cause I know there will be some expectations out there, you know there are lotsssssssss of talents out there and guess I've gotta keep up with them *hooo hooo*(breathing hard)....
The other thing is, I am SO, SO, SO hooked into this group in facebookit's a place for Singapore scrappers to DESTASH SCRAPBOOK PRODCUTS OR SHARE INFO AND STUFFS.. the purpose was mainly for scrappers to destash, but then, everyone end up buying more MORE and MORE! because of the good deals. Paper, punches, stickers, tools whatever you name it. Well you may be asking how hot is this group then? people start checking this group early in the morning until 2am the next day. or if you are a StudioCalico kit subber, the craze is like subbers start buying add ons when the new kit is revealed. But the reveal last a few hours, SBM last you forever. Once a good new stuff is being uploaded for sale , it will be reserved within less than a second, so if you are late, it's too bad :) and everyone takes this place as a chat room too.
SBM (scrapbook market) brought me into another swap, an ATC swap.. okie dokie.. this is my 1st time doing this kinda ATC thing.... and I have a sneak peek for those who are participating....

LO #17 NEW FACES *the lots of texture LO*
sigh, at the moment I am controlling myself not to scrap and even to look at those pretty papers in my shelves
I've got a paper to resit, that's the accounting paper on the 19 January (btw, accounting sucks)
once the time hits the 20th, my mojo will be back and papers can be reduced continuously (giving myself a goal to transform pattern papers that i've been hoarding for the whole year into projects :) )
(so i can have space to hoard the new CHA 2012s..... hahahahahahahahaa)
here I have a layout full of textures.....!! the first thing I wanted this page to have is TEXTURES TEXTURES and TEXTURES.
so here you go:
AND! no glue was used to attach the photos, cause I was thinking that it would be a problem since the thick, rough burlap thing was behind the photos
instead the brads solved my problem :)
behind the thick burlap is just the plain-o craft envelope, but the wonderful Houndstooth stamp gave it a good pattern
so I added lots of stuffs
never knew that the burlap Celeste sent me could be in good use. sometimes the things you don't expect to use comes in quite handy
please add this StudioCalico stamp into your cart before you checkout
cause it is very wonderful
alright THANKS FOR COMING, once again A VERY HAPPY 2012 TO YOU!!!!!!
