back to blog :)

I'm finally sticking back to my blog and start some uploading and blogging (oh no, i have tons of projects, this and that and those havent shared!!!! what you called that?? er... A PROCRASTINATOR!!! that's me :O). There has been lots, well quite some actually has happened.

The first thing is,
I've been chosen to be part of the design team IN ScrappingVille -- an LSS in Kuala Lumpur. I was !!!!!!!!!!!EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!! and wanted to scream (well, i better not) so loud when I received a note from Sharon, thank you so much for choosing me and having an interest in my projects. Thanks to all who congratulate me :) Quite stressful and nervous now, cause I know there will be some expectations out there, you know there are lotsssssssss of talents out there and guess I've gotta keep up with them *hooo hooo*(breathing hard)....

The other thing is, I am SO, SO, SO hooked into this group in facebookit's a place for Singapore scrappers to DESTASH SCRAPBOOK PRODCUTS OR SHARE INFO AND STUFFS.. the purpose was mainly for scrappers to destash, but then, everyone end up buying more MORE and MORE! because of the good deals. Paper, punches, stickers, tools whatever you name it. Well you may be asking how hot is this group then? people start checking this group early in the morning until 2am the next day. or if you are a StudioCalico kit subber, the craze is like subbers start buying add ons when the new kit is revealed. But the reveal last a few hours, SBM last you forever. Once a good new stuff is being uploaded for sale , it will be reserved within less than a second, so if you are late, it's too bad :) and everyone takes this place as a chat room too.

SBM (scrapbook market) brought me into another swap, an ATC swap.. okie dokie.. this is my 1st time doing this kinda ATC thing.... and I have a sneak peek for those who are participating....

LO #14 TWENTY

Sometime ago I participated in an international swap at MonikaWright's blog I LOVE IT ALL, it was a swap with people in France. WOWEE!!! I love stuffs from France. Oh my heavens, I was fortunate enough to swap with a French lady, Camille. She sent me a box lotta goodness! SHE EVEN SEWN MY NAME ON A ITTY BITTY CUTE POUCH!!!! YIKES!!!! *me jumping or rather doing the happy break dance, duh*I have receive this quite some time ago but always forgotten to blog about it. Thanks CAMILLE!

alrighty, a layout I made before going to Singapore (again) last week, inspired by one of the sketches in Sketchpad and AT stuffs.I inked up the naked chipboard Thickers with VersaColor again, but added some GlimmerGlam to it (turns out nothing special). You can see faux stitching with white pen and splatters again.... ye-ah~The pin attached at the top is no TimHoltz thingy, it comes with a tag on my shirt I bought last week... aha, thrifty me but clever me x) just tie a knot with the AT ribbon and done!
zoom in to let you see the 3 layer photomat.

WHAT A SIMPLE AND EASY LAYOUT! but it took me quite some time mix matching the colors and patterns... FYI: I used iPhone's PhotoBooth apps to take the photos.

Thanks for popping over :)

Cardstock: AC, PatternPapers: AmyTangerine by AC, Mits: StudioCalico in white and classic, Ribbon: AmyTangerine by AC, Stickers: Thickers by AC and Random collection label sticker by CratePaper.

Updates for this week.

Yeah yeah yeah...
I have just received my freebie from Scrappin Studio :)
Thanks Jaime once again :D
I super love travel themed stamps~

I had made this bound book for myself, and it's superbly vintage... love the style!
Meet my diary -- PRIMARY QUARTERLY :)

I printed the cover myself, inked myself, distressed myself, bind myself, picked the colour myself and chose the vintage pictures myself :) it's so cool!
It's all handmade!
And guess what? The cover is from a 100% recycled paperbag... it's much more cooler!hah

This is a super hit. Many people loved my diary... I think it's because it's vintage
I'm gonna try making another one available for sale next time

Washi tapes are so trendy nowadays, they appear everywhere!
These are the MT family of my collection :)

The MT tapes seem lonely, there are 15 in total. But I guess they need a new company, a new friend
OR more friends.
So I invited Mark's tapes in to join them.

And so I invited 25 Mark's tapes to join the family, they came from a scrapbook store called Papermarket in Singapore.
There was a great sale last month, a buy one free one MASKING TAPE SALE.
So, I asked my cousin to get some for me, and she chose them, but I didn't know it was such a huge family.
Say CHEESE tapies!!!
{family photo}

Making a record before the tapes are gone for good.

I received Wendy Erman's wonderful postcard last month.
It is phenomenal! Super love her creation! *and it's vintage!*
It's the masking tape swap actually.
