i did this before heading to Singapore,

I wanted to follow one of the sketches in Kelly Purkey's Sketchpad, but then ended up a sketch that is totally different from the one I aimed for. I wanted to use the Petals from Basic Grey ( Miss C. gave them to me :D THANKS!) so the sketch from Sketchpad didn't work well :( I totally had no clue how to use the petals and I am not a fan of 2-dimensional flowers, so I made and layered to a 3D flower instead. (I think I may post a little tutorial here, I guess.....) it turned out good for me :)
Really hope to sew and get real stitches across the banners, but I have no sewing machine. Faux stitches with white pen does the trick

A pretty flower here *happy*, and I did stitches on the layout, it's pretty cool, Amy Tan is really a genius!

:) hope it inspires you in anyway. and I overspent in Singapore for scrap supplies again! shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.it.
